Places you will visit in this tour

Filled with museums, art, history, and hip places, Amsterdam is the new hotspot that attracts thousands of tourists annually. Amsterdam is a place that attracts many artists and creatives alike – a true artistic hotspot. This is why a visit to its museums – the Rijksmuseum Museum, Stedelijk, and Van Gogh Museum – is a must. It is the pinnacle of historic and art collections, hosting some of the most famous exhibits in Europe. And of course, we will not forget to try some Dutch Fusion Cuisine – street food like herring or stroopwafels, famous Indonesian and Surinamese tocos, and classical restaurants with traditional Dutch food.

Jewish district – Jordaan. It is a small but charming district in the West of Amsterdam which is known for its narrow and interconnected canal lines, hip cafes and stores, and many markets. We will explore the historical city center, and hidden secret gardens, and visit the well-known Anne Frank Museum.

Zaanse Schans is a historical and very large complex of a collection of 18th and 19th-century windmills, wooden houses, and traditional Dutch museums. We will rent bicycles and have a proper Dutch experience exploring the traditional area

Full of charming little streets, the Hague charms you with its strict and profound looks. Dutch Parliament – the Binnenhof – a place of Dutch politics, deliberation, and decision-making. Who knows, maybe you will have a chance to see the Dutch Prime Minster, Mark Rutte, in person?

Mauritshuis – the home to the worldwide renounced painting of the “Girl with a Pearl Earring.”

The most modern city of the Netherlands – Rotterdam. Filled with cool street art, unconventional architecture, and skyscrapers – Rotterdam is the place to be! Enjoy a late-evening walk around the vibrant city, and see it from a bird-eye view from the Euromast.

Brussels is another must-see in Europe – the political capital of the whole of Europe, with the EU Parliament and prominent EU institutions located there. In the afternoon, we will visit the Grand Place and Parc du Cinquantenaire – to enjoy the views of Baroque and neo-Gothic architecture in the city center of Brussels.

Belgium is known for its high-quality soft-centred chocolate, and chocolate is an important part of the country’s economy and culture. This is why today, we will experience what it is like to produce Belgian chocolate by participating in a chocolate workshop! Hopefully, there will be something left to bring back to China for your friends and family to taste 😉

Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium – a facility that includes six museums. The Royal Museums have an impeccable collection of over 20,000 drawings and sculptures and host the collections of some of Europe’s most prominent artists. Importantly and most interesting, the museum was founded by the famous French emperor Napoleon.

The Parlamentarium – an interactive space that allows everyone to immerse themselves in the daily workings of an EU politician. The Parlamentarium has facilities that allow visitors to engage in multimedia immersion in the heart of the EU Parliament and outlines the mechanisms of EU cooperation. It is the perfect space to even further understand EU culture!

Luxembourg city. It is a small city in one of Europe’s smallest countries, but it so full of beauty. Situated between two rivers, the city is located in old medieval ruins and is located on many beautiful cliffs that offer breathtaking views. We will start by embarking on a walk in the city to admire the Cathedrale of Notre Dame, Pont Adolphe, the Monument of Remembrance and visit the Grund Neighbourhood. Then, we will explore the Luxembourg City Hall Museum which offers a dive into the thousands of years of history of Luxembourg.

The Grand Duke of Luxembourg in his official residence at the Grand Duce Palace, where the Duke works and performs all of his duties. We will close off the evening by taking the elevator to Pfaffenthal and enjoy a panoramic view of the city with the sun going down.

Maastricht – the southern tip of the Netherlands. Maastricht is a very different Dutch city, a combination of Gothic medieval architecture and Scandinavian. In the city, we will visit the city center and the most architecturally impressive church in the Netherlands – the Basilica of Saint Servatius. The Basilica is the oldest church in the country and is characterized by its monumental and impressive Romanesque architectural style. We will close off our visit to Maastricht by climbing the historical Helpoort – a 13th-century medieval gate to the city.

Kasteel de Haar – the largest castle in the Netherlands that used to belong to generations of Dutch royals. The city itself is culturally and architecturally rich, and we will explore the canals and the iconic Dom tower – the tallest church tower in the Netherlands dating back to the 14th- century. We will close off the evening by grabbing a drink by St Martin’s Cathedral, with an opportunity to enjoy the sunset and take pictures.
